Tea Packaging
We package all of our teas in heat sealed, gusseted, labeled, 3-ply, opaque bags made from FDA approved, food grade materials. The inside layer is polyethylene, the middle layer is aluminum foil, and the outer layer is linear low density polyethylene. It is important to protect tea from air, moisture and light and these bags do the trick. We place a piece of resealable tape on the back of the bag to enable our customers to reseal the bag once it has been opened.
Our tea tins are made from FDA approved, food-grade tin and have an air tight seal that keeps the teas fresh.
Packing
We pack all of our items for shipping in new or recycled boxes using new and recycled packing materials. We also reuse or recycle all  shipping materials that come through our warehouse. When we purchase new packing materials, we make every effort to stock the most ecologically friendly options. Of course we want all of the items you have purchased to arrive intact and undamaged, so special care is taken in packing every order.
Shipping
All orders leave our warehouse within 48 hours of receipt. They are shipped FedEx ground. Our ground rate is $6 for shipping within the continental U.S. which takes anywhere from 4 to 10 business days for transit. Tracking Packages
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you when your package leaves our warehouse. The e-mail will contain your FedEx tracking number which can be used to track your shipment. Your account can also be monitored on our website for shipping updates, or you may call us directly at 888-228-8007.
Return Policy
For returns please call us at 1-888-228-8007 or click here to e-mail us. We need to know the reason for the return as we would like an opportunity to remedy the situation promptly. Wrap the package securely and include the invoice. We recommend that you send it FedEx or Insured Parcel Post.
