Your Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and developing a relationship based on trust with you and all of our customers. This section clearly explains how we handle the information we receive from you.
By using our Web site or purchasing products and services from us, you agree to our policies. If we change our privacy policy, we will post everything on this page, so please check back occasionally to keep current on any changes.
How we protect your information
This Web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. When placing orders or accessing your account information, we use a secure server. The secure socket layer (SSL)(click here to view certificate) encrypts all information before it is sent over the internet. All of the customer data we collect is similarly protected against unauthorized access.
We respect your right to privacy and make the promise to never sell, trade or rent any of your personal information to anyone, ever.
We do share some of your information with authorized third parties for specific purposes.
Who are the authorized third parties and what do we share with them?
The only companies with whom we share some of your information are FedEx, Authorize.net, and Chase Manhattan Merchant Services. We use FedEx to ship all of our orders. Authorize.net is our gateway to Chase Manhattan Merchant Services to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, or use your information for secondary purposes.
What information do we collect?
Visitors who wish to make a purchase must share with us the following: contact information (name, e-mail, phone number and shipping address) and billing information (credit card number and expiration date). This information is only used to create an account, to process and ship your orders, and to notify you of shipment.
We also create log files and may (in the future) use cookies (see below) to track visitors and maintain the shopping cart pages.
What are Log Files?
Log Files are the information created and stored by the server and include such data as a visitor's IP (internet protocol) address, browser type, ISP (internet service provider), referring/exit pages, platform type, and date/time stamp. This information is used to analyze macro traffic trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. None of the information collected in this matter can be used to ascertain the personal identity of any of our visitors.
