About Keemun - Organically Grown Black Tea
Our Keemun is organically grown and harvested in the mountains of the Anhui Province, China. The tea is comprised of one bud and two to three leaf pluckings. You will notice an almost grey sheen on the leaves which are small and intact.
A Few Words On Taste
The aroma is deep, rich, complex and heavy with notes of honey. The liquor has a full body and is amazingly satisfying. This tea is perfect with breakfast or for an afternoon break. Try it alone first, before adding milk or your preferred natural sweetener.
Brewing Instructions
- Fill your kettle with freshly drawn water from the purest available source.
- Heat the water to boiling.
- Measure approximately 1 rounded tsp. of tea per 6-8 ounces of water.
- Place the tea in your preferred brewing vessel: teapot, filter basket, large tea ball, etc.
- Pour the heated water over the tea and steep for 3-5 minutes, (if a longer time is allowed the tea will become bitter) then serve.
