About Bai Hao - Oolong Tea
Queen Victoria loved this tea so much that she named it “Oriental Beauty.” Our Bai Hao is mountain grown in the Fujian Province of China. This tea is about 70% oxidized and distinguished by its delicately twisted leaves and remarkable color variations on the leaf. You will notice different shades of brown ranging from yellow-brown to purple-brown, and a silver stripe or tip on many of the leaves.
A Few Words On Taste The biscuity aroma is reminiscent of baked peaches. The amber colored liquor is medium-bodied, delicately perfumed and has well-balanced tannins. Try it alone, then add your preferred natural sweetener if so desired. Milk is not recommended.
