About Darjeeling Silver Tip - White Tea
Only the largest and most superior quality leaf buds grown in select gardens in Darjeeling, India are selected to create this particular tea. These leaf buds are harvested early in the morning during the first few weeks of spring, and carefully handled to preserve their shape and the tiny hairs apparent on the leaf. The leaf bud is first dried in the sun then gently dried with hot air before being packed for shipping.
A Few Words On Taste Darjeeling teas are renowned for their unique muscatel flavor. This white Darjeeling captures that famous characteristic and softens it with a nuttiness that can be found in fine white teas. The light brew is medium-bodied and has a note of minerality akin to which is found in some French white wines.
