Devi Tea

Green Tea is the only kind of tea (Camellia sinesensis) Japan produces; green tea is also the most widely consumed tea in China. Drinking green tea is as popular today as it's been in the history of tea and the conventional wisdom of drinking it is borne out by modern science. Preliminary research indicates it may be possible that green tea benefits one's health and that green tea and tea may have an effect on body weight, fat accumulation and insulin activity. Key findings suggest that there is a green tea diet and green tea weight loss connection, though it is premature to draw firm conclusions based on this early research. Fine green tea is plucked in the early hours of the morning and is either heat-dried immediately to end oxidation, or allowed to wither slightly before heating, depending on the type of green tea. All Japanese green tea is steamed before being heat-dried; and some Chinese green teas are pan-fried one or more times to obtain the desired dried leaf shape and flavor quality. Green tea is delicate and light in flavor and not to be missed. It can be especially wonderful in the morning. Green tea contains a moderate amount of caffeine. Milk is not recommended.
